One musician less to shake hands with when I arrive at practice each Friday evening. No one to join with in frustration at the state of dancing. You, Ian in bafflement and gentle amusement. Me, I'm afraid less kindly. Who will I turn to now Ian to temper my frustrations. How will we hear of Laura and Anna and your grandchildren, In the pub after practice? Who will tell us all those stories of Australia and your exploits over there? Sixty years with The Morris, so many stories, so many happy memories, so many years of friendship. I so wish there were more. I will look out for you though each evening, sitting on your star, playing your squeeze box and being happy, always happy. You will have Mark for company and my Jean who was so very, very fond of you. Three of the brightest stars in the sky... Maurice
